We use a self-hosted instance of the open-source GoatCounter software to understand aggregate traffic to our public website and blog. Depending on the information made available by your browser and network connection, this may include the visited page, visit time, referring website, approximate country derived from the IP address, and general browser, operating system, screen size, and device information.
GoatCounter does not use cookies or persistent advertising identifiers. Raw IP addresses are processed briefly to produce aggregate statistics but are not stored in the analytics database. We do not use analytics data for advertising, profiling, tracking visitors across websites, or monitoring activity inside authenticated Aamu.app workspaces.
Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in understanding how our public website is found and used and in improving it. The analytics service is hosted and controlled by Aamu.app. Analytics data is retained only for as long as it is useful for these purposes.
